Currently the Discover Guilders feature is very minimal. I'm a little let down by this 5000km limit; As an Australian that radius is limited to Australia, New Zealand, Papua new Guinea and some of Indonesia and surrounding isalnds only - it doesn't connect me to the US or the UK. I understand the purpose of this tool, however perhaps the maximum should be raised, so that people have a full range and adjust the radius as they require.
There are three preferred techniques only. A couple more (Oils, Pastel, Charcoal, Woodcut, Vector etc.) would be ideal. It would be good to have more detailed profile options like inspirations, favourite art periods, and so on that will allow you to appear to/connect with people of similar vision/influence/aesthetic. Then an option to find something new, showing you threads from people and posts that aren't in those areas.
